Pirate Dream sale con una formación atípica, al estilo Insane, sin tanques y con dos asesinos en el carril superior, producto en un apresurada selección de Kindred y Galio por el lado de AGD, sin las condiciones en el draft para que estas dos selecciones fueran eficaces, y cediendo una gran ventaja para los piratas en jungla y en el carril central.
La Karma de Sofia es la primera sangre de la partida a favor de AGD, pero un par de minutos después Agonistic, Ichik46 y Kerfa terminan asediando el carril superior y quedandose con dos asesinatos a su favor y con el primer heraldo, ya que ceden el primer dragón a AGD cuya única ventaja en juego temprano es el escalado de la Ashe de Gypsi, ya que todas las demás ventajas son para los Piratas, en especial el oro, donde tienen 2.700 de ventaja al minuto 11.
La ventaja en las rotaciones siempre fue para los piratas dado que AGD separó muy temprano a la Ashe de Braum, y eso le hizo morir y perder tiempo valioso de escalado, y también una de las ventajas más valiosas que tenían en contra de Pirate Dream.
La tripulación pirata resaltó por uno de sus mejores atributos en lo que va de este split, y es su buen aprovechamiento de los heraldos, el primero decide una ventaja en el carril superior, y el segundo, logra dañar dos torres del carril central cerrando una gran ventaja sobre el minuto 17.
La única posibilidad de AGD era el Barón Nashor, pero un error de Neith al minuto 21 les deja con uno menos y sin posibilidad de pelearlo. Ya con la bendición del Barón, Pirate Dream debilita todos los carriles pero terminan siendo repelidos por AGD en una pelea en el carril superior al minuto 24, una pelea que demuestra algo que cobraría importancia en las dos partidas de la semana, y es que AGD puede tener la lucidez para ganarle una pelea a Pirate Dream con o sin bendición del Nashor. Afortunadamente, toda la ventaja cultivada en periodo temprano rindió frutos, y con un poco más de orden, los piratas exterminan a los gladiadores y cierran con una victoria al minuto 26.
Para la segunda partida Pirate Dream aprovechó la posibilidad de escoger Gwen pero dejó ir por completo la posibilidad de escoger Viego, haciéndonos notar que han dejado ir un poco su versatilidad, y en lugar de ello, están más sujetos a un plan.
Al minuto 4 vemos que Agonistic tiene problemas de conexión, y luego lo vemos caer en carril superior en igualdad de condiciones, lo cual deja prever que condiciones externas a su juego pudieron haber condicionado el periodo temprano de la partida, y de hecho hay más cosas que permiten pensarlo como: La libertad que tiene el Volibear de Demonds, la ventaja que le da el heraldo a AGD en carril superior, la poca atención de Agonistic a una ventaja clara sobre Nurtz al minuto 13 en carril inferior.
Para el minuto 17 Pirate Dream había reducido casi todas las ventajas que le había sacado AGD, salvo porque el escalado del cuadro gladiador era mejor. El Zed de Kerfa fue determinante para lograrlo, pero el peor enemigo de Zed es el tiempo de partida, dado que entre más cerca se esté del late game, menos importancia tendrá su daño sobre los enemigos que se equipan mejor, y así fue, al minuto 23 AGD gana una pelea en la que Kerfa no fue determinante, y con ventaja numérica, los gladiadores se quedan con el Barón Nashor y cierran la partida a su favor al minuto 28, quinta derrota para Pirate Dream en lo que va del split, pero probablemente la más dolorosa, dado que era contra el último de la tabla.
El balance general sigue siendo estable para la tripulación, ya que, de ganar por lo menos una partida contra Skull Cracker Clan, firmarían un mejor cierre de la fase de todos contra todos que el split pasado, y en el peor de los casos, perder las dos partidas contra el equipo de los cráneos, les haría tener un balance igual al del split pasado donde fueron finalistas.
¿Cómo Pirate Dream va a ver esta fase previa a los Play-Offs? porque puede ser como una oportunidad para probar composiciones, y sacar a baldados el agua que se le entró a la nave por los golpes, por la falta de atención en algunos drafts, por el cansancio acumulado o por el mismo estado mental del equipo.
O también, pueden dejar de sacar el agua de la nave si no aprenden de sus errores de cara a los Play-Offs.
